"what a wonderful world" was playing in my head as my character emerged from the vault.

Whole world shattered in under an hour. "What a wonderful world" is now the anthem of irony.

By 2077, there would have been over 125 years of recorded music that has gone into public domain. (No cost for broadcasting.) For right now in what's left of 2015 when the game is developed, there are well over 65 years of recordings spanning numerous genres available, free for the taking. I really want for the game to include at a minimum hundreds of selections. As a design feature, I think it would be quite nice to have a procedure for uploading the users' playlists to augment in-game music picked up on the Pip-Boy radio. Leaving Music volume set high enough to hear gets tedious after just a few hours because the tunes have moved into repeat mode already.

For me, I would love to have all previous FO songs on the radio, and was quite happy to have a few return from FO3.

1) Butcher Pete part 12: he's hacking and whacking and jeebus I had enough of this on FO3, STOP IT
2) Uranium Fever - why? cos it mentions uranium? jeez crap
3) Crawl Out Through The Fallout - it was fun the first 3 times I heard it, then it grates on me

Have they featured "If I Didn't Care" by the Ink Spots in Fallout 1 or 2? That is one of their best tunes.

I agree on that mate. Although I'm surprised that the songs from Fall Out new vegas aren't in fallout 4...

Now, not All the songs from 'NV' need to be in Fallout 4 but it would have been great if songs like 'Blue Moon'

and such would be in the game. Really hope they get added later :-)

Love that list OP, sounds like my pandora channel. An option to upload pandora or another music streaming app would be awesome. Sway by Bobby Darrin needs to be in there also.

Seeing as they also have "Uranium Fever" why not add more songs from Elton Britt'? Was the record/holotap Travis found/used corrupted? ;)

This. +1

Elvis Presley (1956)

Elvis (1956)

Loving You (1957)

There's three Elvis Presley albums before the 1960's. Each having numerous songs that could be perfect additions.

Yeah I wonder why they didn't used all Songs from Fallout 3. Anyone knows how much it cost to be allowed such Songs in a game? I would pay for a Radio DLC. ^^

Cruk Radio, durr more like this of course Black Mountain Radio was pretty much a nod to that mod.

I honestly don't mind the old music but can we at least move forward several generations and have you know an alternative metal radio station?

Plus some 60's songs with a rock beat would be nice but hey uh people outside of this video game series don't really listen to a lot of this stuff >< ouch. Its like this its almost like there are no more people from that era of 40's not that the selections aren't fun for the game and all but it needs more face lift. "The Wanderer" was a good pick how about more like that, I want some more beats.
