The ones you could turn on and hear a distress signal or something. Like in FO3 where you turned on a tower and heard the distress call of a man looking for his family (or something like that).

I'd love to have them back, if they served an actual purpose and just being there for the sake of a little false immersion.

I know what your talking about. Those sort of power grids that you flip the switch, and it says "_____ Radio Signal Found". I kind of liked those, for some reason, whenever I got the chance, I flipped them to see what I get. xDD

There is an example of this in Jury Street Metro Station.

Yeah it would be nice with those.
Didn't realize they had purpose until my 5th playthrough in FO3. :P

I say yes, but I'd prefer (as well) if they had more than just morse code. I want private radio stations like Agatha's, or broadcasts for help, etc.

I loved the towers, but like some of the other users here, expected more to come of them. It would have been great to get unlock something after you had turned on/off all the signals... Not an achievement or gear nessecarily, but even access to a hidden terminal that held secrets about the Brotherhood, or the vault programs, or the international targets that US missiles hits, etc.

I would love for the radio towers to return in New Vegas, but not just morse code signal, I want a more in-depth experience, maybe random encounters? A side quest? Or even an actual radio station complete with crew and the likes, that would be kinda cool :)

Immersion is important.

To me the immersion was that they served no actual purpose. If they had loot, or even a quest they wouldn't be so disturbing.

HELL YES! I loved them, it was awesome to find a tower far away and explore the manholes. However I wish they were bigger and with different things, maybe some quests, not just loot.

They did have loot in the manholes/sewers near them and if I remember correctly there were always Chinese spies (skeletons) in them that added to the story of the war between the commie bastards and the united states.

Side note: I hope they have Chinese Ghouls again. I loved killing those Chinese red devils in the one factory in Arlington. I blamed them for my having to live in a fault and fight off Deathclaws and the like.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind having them back. But it'd be nice if quests came from finding them.

Maybe one leads to a distress signal coming from out in the Desert or something like that, just some added little extras to do/find.

Yes but only if the rewards are better this time around. The only one I can recall that was worthwhile had the bobblehead in it.

So long as once they are all turned on they open up a new quest line, then yeah I'd love to have them back.

Maybe not come back as radio towers but something different like how their changing the collectibles to snowglobes.

Be nice to find hidden messages in some form from prewar. Brings in more indepth knowledge of what happened and how the corporations were working with the government and talk about their dealing with groups from other countries and more local interests.

maybe you could find an object they used to use as a hidden storage compartment and relay secret messages with like a lunchbox or suitcase. Also you could find special reading glasses similar to PL and read the encoded messages.

Or we could find those old buried time capsules and their chalk full of prewar items and letters to the future. Would find them near schools and other community buildings that have been reduced to ash. Like a hopeful salute to the future and remember a day gone by or it would be a way to remember what the world was like if some horrible tragedy were to occur and destroy almost all life.- my guess was the first one
