CW raiders Vs...NV Raiders

Post » Mon May 16, 2011 11:18 pm

I say NV Raiders simply because they make more sense of how they exist compare to the randomize CW Raiders with practically no story to its background.

@Demonhoopa

I think you're ignoring the question - the LW and Courier aren't involved - so it doesn't matter how easy it was for you to kill things. I mean the Courier single handedly took out the entire NCR presence in the Mojave with a sledgehammer (at least in my game :hubbahubba: ) so let's forget about him for a moment. . .

NV fiends will [censored] you, smack your junk with a 9-iron, char you with a flame-thrower then feed your barely alive avatar to their dogs......

 but how is that any worse than being locked in a slave collar and exploded for fun. . .or being impaled on a meat hook, hung from a satellite dish, and used for target practice?

CW raiders without a doubt. I haven't met a single raider in NV that's put up much of a fight. I've encountered Raiders with nukes in the CW. The toughest thing I've ever came across in the Mojave was a fiend with a Laser rifle, and he couldn't use it for [censored]! :P

Seriously, the fiends are kinda weak when compared to the raiders of CW.

New Vegas Raiders, easy. In FO3 they have greater numbers but are poorly equiped and appear to be pretty unorganized. In NV the fiends have energy weapons, and they are even giving the NCR at MacCaren a run for their money.

My money's on the Fiends, though the CW Raiders do have the advantage of numbers.

The reason why the Fiends are better of is because NV wasn't hit by many bombs. While D.C probably got hit the hardest in the world. Therefore its unfair!

Well, I gotta say the CW raiders.
I've seen a group of 5 raiders armed with Missile Launchers destroy a BoS patrol.

So, yea, CW probably.

This makes perfect sense... THATS WHY THE BUNNIES HAVE ASSASSINATED THE TURTLES PRESIDENT!

But really, I fail to see any logic in this, D.C. was'nt hit the hardest, and this does'nt affect [censored].

I font understand why everyone says that they are disorganized. Yeah they might be crazy junkies sitting on jet and psycho but they have many strongholds, they captured a behemoth, they have some scientific research, they have trading and are organized from the Evergreen mills. Simply because all of them is hostile to the player doesnt mean that they are complete nubs. They have assault rifle, miniguns, Fatman, large stock of weapons, not to mention that they have their traditions. They would certanily have an upper hand on the Fiends, Also Fiends make no sense how did they, raiders, acquired so much energy weapons, more when NCR, Gun Runners and Van Graffs have? Makes no sense to me

Must have been a supply in Vault 3. Also where they get the pool cues.

I say CW because I've seen them traveling in a group of twelve with four missle launchers, two fatmen, four assault rifles, and two combat shotguns. They are extremely organized and tactical (that group snuck up on me), even though the Fiends have more energy weapons the CW raiders would kill them with their fatmen and missle launchers then they would mutilate the defeated Fiends' corpses and celebrate with soem human flesh.

And that's not even including how many more CW raiders there are. Hundreds against dozens. It'd be a blood bath.

10mm Pistols versus Plasma Rifles and Laser RCW's...

Yup it's a tricky one :

The raiders in FNV should have never been equiped with the weapons they have. It makes no sense that they can get a hold of that weaponry.

BOS and Legion are technically raiders as well. :whistling:

So NV raiders!

Vipers can have metal armors and with their DT they would be tanks against the CW raiders and their pesky DR armors.
Powder Gangers would also kick their asses with their rain of dynamites.
And Khans can actually "think" so they'd most likely be able to think up better strategies than "LEEEROOOOY!".

I disagree, if you use that logic then Paradise Falls and the Outcasts are raiders as well which would make the CW win as well. If it was a five on five match (A BoS, a Legionarre, a Fiend, and a Khan for NV and an Outcast, two Slavers, and three raiders for the CW then it would be a really close fight)

Well Outcasts have a lesser power armor and lesser weapons than Mojave Chapter.
Legionnaires have also proven to be able to take out power armored foes.
Fiends have energy weapons that surpass CW raiders arsenal.
And Khans aren't exactly hopped up psycho addicts like the CW raiders.
Overall the only raiders from CW that would pose a threat would be Outcasts and Paradise Falls.
Both of which have very limited troops and worse weapons and armors when compared to Mojave Chapter, Scorpions, Vipers and Khans.
