Raiding in ESO, good or bad?

~2 thirds of the games solo content is at the level cap. Once you hit level 50 you gain access to the other factions zones as level 50+/++ content. There is plenty of solo content at level 50.

But yes, to see ALLLL the games content you need to group up at some point.

I agree, I love this model. I doubt anything but the most hardcoe 24/7 playing groups will finish the zone in one sitting.

I would wanting raiding but different then how most MMOs have it. Believe its been stated already that raid size is 16man.

Then this is my perfect raid hierarchy:

1: A 16 man raid is introduced but its very hard and only the hard core guilds can run them. Time passes.

2: The 16 man raid is downgraded and now a 8 man raid. is possible by the masses though the loot quality is reduced accordingly.

3: The 16 man raid is downgraded again and is now a 4 man group with its loot quality reduced to group level.

4: The 16 man raid is downgraded further to open world contested content that has any of the top difficulties.

That way Raids can still be hard for the hard core, but the mass public will still be able to see the content at some point in the future. I always hated that most raids and dungeons become obsolete once newer content is introduced.

I didn't just want a yes or no answer i want to know what people really think weather it really excites them or puts them off, or weather they aren't even fussed about a raiding system.

Some people could be on a fence about it.

Yes, it's pretty boring.

MoP released with dungeons but they added no more after launch. Only raids. Was incredibly annoying since I'm sick of LFR. And the brainless, mindless idiots in it.

That game has seriously jaded my impressions of humanity as a whole.

This is the best point ever! I play because I enjoy the world and the game and to relax and to have fun. Heck I spent 2 hours of precious beta time just fishing because I could and was curious as to how it worked. People get so wrapped up in "end game" and "raiding" and at a certain point I have to think it stops being fun and becomes almost like a job, even if people won't admit it.

Grouping isn't the problem.

Being forced to get a regular group of 10+ people together, aka "raid guild" is. Burnt way the hell out on that stuff.
