I did the BoS ending. Now I'm doing RR and trying to finish it before I go on vacation tomorrow. But I'm really surprised at how different it is. With BoS you build a giant robot, crash the Institute's front door and go in blasting. With the RR, I'm just not sure where this is going. I'm to the point now where some Snyths are ready to do a full blown rebellion and Bunker Hill just finished, and father wants me to talk to the other leaders.

How much further is it to the ending?

Side note I've been dumping guns in that chest for the Synth, but still have it as a optional quests. Is there a set number of guns to put in or does that quest just stay on until it's not needed anymore?

What the heck was the BoS doing at Bunker Hill. I had to kill them (though I wasn't enemies with them) as they were targeting the RR Heavies. Hell of a battle (and got some BoS PA out of it for my collection.

Have you done Mass Fusion yet? Also you will have to "deal" with the brotherhood before you take out the institute, so although your nearing the end there's still a fair few quests to go, the three I just mentioned being the main ones

I did Mass Fusion. Got all the way until I recorded my 'message' and I need to upgrade the radio station in Diamond City so the message can go out. BUT, I have no idea what parts are needed to do that or where they are at. The 'Pointer' just points to the radio shack, but nothing in there but the machine I need to put the parts into, but I have no idea where or even what the parts are. The quest notes give me nothing. HELP.

Note, the quest to fill the box with guns finally ended after I added a few more guns in there, so that's done. I'm, hated by the BoS. The RR just wants me to keep doing 'as Father says'.

Seriously I feel like I've been spinning my wheels for hours. Am I even headed in the right direction to get the RR ending?

The radio parts are in the shack, they shouldn't be too hard to find unless you have a strange bug. I believe there's 3 pieces in total

You are. To get the Railroad ending, you play along and help Shaun for a while. Though I've heard that there's a bug in this quest that makes it impossible to proceed past the "Do what Shaun wants" objective, or whatever it says.
