So I had a raised bandit chief with me and he turned hostile and attacked me. Didn't mistake me for an enemy as there were none around. I did have a bounty in the hold I was in so could that be why or is it a glitch?

You raised him to soon. He still mad at you. You have to wait a minute or two before he forgets about what you did and be your minion.

He was able to use his brain.

Being that this is a brand new game I'm playing , yeah I guess I do. No this has never happened to any character I've played before.
