Ralof or Hadvar?

Ralof is totally a cool dude

It's not like he DOESN'T ENCOURAGE YOU TO JUMP OUT OF A CRUMBLING TOWER, OVER A PIT FILLED WITH RUBBLE, INTO A BURNING BUILDING THAT IS FALLING APART AND THEN LEAVE YOU BEHIND NOT DOING THE SAME LEAP OF FAITH.

I mean he totally doesn't do any of that, he also certainly takes off your binds and stays with his stormcloak buddies.

I'm just saying, Ralof seems like the least likable character here, he hasn't shown any redeeming qualities at all and from what we see in Helgen there should be no reason our character follows him since he not only made us jump to our possible death but also abandoned us before thinking "Gee there must be a better way, oh well to late to tell the person who will probably die."

:bonk: I, what? I'm not even going to bother, the favoritism is blatant.

Yes, quite. The only other possible explanation is that where he lives the phrase "saved you from the World-Eater and tried to his fullest potential to be friendly and helpful to you" is said in the phrase "he has no redeeming qualities".

That's funny to hear from you Killabee, I'm sure if I was favoring Ralof you would have no problem

(and stop with that whole "I'm not killabee" crap, everyone sees past that act)

Lol, I admit that wasn't his finest moment but to be fair a lot of crap is going on so I don't really hold that against him. I just liked how Hadvar actually tried to protect the people and wasn't trying to just cut and run.

Actually when going back and playing it again later and understanding background better I was less annoyed with Ralof and more annoyed with Ulfric, but I won't open that can of worms lol :celebration:

I hold that against him because that's something you can hold against a person, jumping out of a tower into a burning building shouldn't be resorted until you are sure there is another way around, yet Ralof didn't bother doing that, nope as soon as alduin flew away his first line was "You better jump into that burning building that is crumbling apart"

I went with Ralof when I first played as I was unaware you could even go with Hadvar. Heat of the moment led to me following my fellow brother in chains without hesitation. As for who would win in a fight, I guess the one with experience in the Imperial legion over the one from Riverwood.

Haha, I know and I see what you mean. I guess its more that I am equally to preoccupied with the big black dragon destroying everything and didn't really have any better ideas to offer, so it never really bugged me.

You seriously think that someone who wanted you dead would have called your named and given you shelter in the tower? And even it did count as a serious offense on Ralof's part, you find no problem with "I'm sorry, we'll make sure your remains are taken care of properly."? In what realm is that logic plausible? Because in Nirn, it sure the hell isn't.

That also irks me, why the hell did they think climbing a tower during a dragon attack was a smart idea? It really doesn't make sense.

You know, it's a gameplay thing for why Ralof doesn't cut your binds. If he did then silly people would probably hit the nearest person and cause ALL of those Stormcloaks to attack and kill the player.
Rolff sixy-Fist would probaly cut a Dunmer's binds if they where both "brothers and sisters in binds."
