Hadvar was my first Skyrim crush. I'm telling the truth.

My initial thoughts about him at the execution scene: Wow, that guy is handsome. Too bad he is on the enemy side

Ralof is nice and good-looking, but Hadvar has a more interesting face I think.

But attraction aside, I sympathize more with the Stormcloaks.

I pick Ralof or Hadvar depending on whom my character most likely would follow. And for who would win in a batttle... Hadvar seems like a more trained soldier, so I think he would win, but he would be badly wounded and perhaps even mortally wounded. They seem pretty even to me.

Hadvar since running off with rebels would incriminate me more and Hadvar seemed like a decent sort to me and would help sort everything out. Considering my characters are normally ex soldiers. He was understanding why I would not want to join the legion after they tried to cut my head off and he said he would feel the same way and simply said its fair if you think about it. Plus free smithing ingots.

Contrary to the saying (which is wrong), the best defense is a good defense. Ralof would rain blow upon blow... on Hadvar's shield. And then he'd get shieldsmacked, and then Hadvar would reply.

Ralof wields 2 bearded axes against 1 shield, if he's got skills then he could easily get past that small, poorly designed Imperial shield.
