I never could understand that. That pic doesn't make my crotch tingle or anything, but I can just tell that this is an attractive man. He doesn't attract me sixually, but it grabs my attention visually as someone that is appealing to look on, compared to Hadvar.

Or he'd grow tired and drop his guard. Or Ralof could keep the attack up and get past his defenses when he saw an opening. Not really that hard. Ralof also uses a two handed hammer. Good for breaking shield arms.

Now we just need a Hadvar shirtless picture. xD

I'm not into guys myself, but I can understand why a woman might find Ralof appealing, especially if he looked like that. x) Though Hadvar is a bit more muscular than Ralof. Ralof is more lean and fit.

As for who would win? Depends. Hadvar likely has official Legionarre training, so he would get the upper hand. Ralof? Does he have a military background before he joined Ulfric's forces? Or was he a farmer who thought, while being sweet on a girl from Helgen, "Gonna go join Ulfric and fight the Empire!"

All I can see is that neither man is "ugly" but which is more handsome requires seeing them in a light that I just can't. If you put 2 beautiful women before me and ask which is more beautiful then I would judge based off of what's more appealing to me...there's nothing appealing to me about men, simple as that. If you ask about looks between Ralof and Vignar then it's a no brainer....Vignar is a sixy beast

I prefer the company of those who don't stand idly by while I'm unjustly set to the block... But I suppose one could say Hadvar's on the list of more honourable Imperials. And as far as man to man combat, I would say it's too even to tell.

Best way to look at it in my opinion is vicariously. Which would you rather look like?

I have tried both and also tried both Legion and Stormcloak, mostly to see both sides of the argument. But I will never be a Stormcloak again and always follow Hadvar at the beginning now.

I think Hadvar would win because he seems more focused and disciplined. Plus I remember when playing through the opening Ralof took a knee twice and Hadvar never has.

Overall I favor Hadvar, Ralof is alright but Hadvar seemed even the first time I played skyrim liked a decent guy. He has his head on straight and acts responsibly and dutiful even in the face of this spontaneous dragon attack and tried to show mercy where he could. 10/10 what a true legion soldier should look like.
