Is Raminus Polus...

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:28 am

Is Raminus Polus supposed to be a joke name? You know, like Sillius Sodus or Biggus dikeus.

I've tossed it back and forth in my head but I just can't quite decide!

(If you don't see it then maybe I just have a dirty mind..)

Maybe. But the innuendo could be more than the moderators will allow.

Well naturally. How dare we discuss normal bodily functions on a forum dedicated to an M rated game which contains mass quantities of violence.

Oh I see it, I just choose to ignore it. I think it makes just a fine sort of Roman style name. Intentional? No idea.

The game is M, but the forums are PG13. On topic: :yuck:

ToJKa, what is the point of a 13 year old being on this board/forum when they can't legally access the M-rated game we're discussing?

Good point, same goes for Fallout 3. Why are those under age even allowed to post in categories for games that they are too young for?

Still don't get it. At first I thought it was supposed to sound like "Ram in his polus" but I don't think thats the funny part.

Edit: LOL, I get it now. :D

What is suggested is not a "normal bodily function".

Bethesda puts out games that go beyond their own forum rules. Just sayin'...

Polus in Latin is more a translation of "opposite ends of an axis" usually associated with the heavenly spheres. E.g. Polus Australis, Polus Superior.

Nothing on, Raminus.

Do the devs indulge themselves with things of this nature? Yeah... "Cleaning, eh? I have something for you. Here, polish my spear".

Just FYI.

Oh, I think we've gone about as far as we can for this topic.

Not all of Bethesda's games are rated mature.
