Random attacks on a good character?

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 1:50 pm

So I'm minding my own damn business, much like I usually do when I go to Whiterun to sell some loot from the latest dungeon. All of a sudden out of nowhere the Gray Manes AND the Battle Borns attack me and when I just STAND THERE and block but don't attack back (although my companion did) I get a bounty .....WTF. I haven't done quests from either side, nor have I done the civil war quests. This is stupid....

I refuse to believe this has only happened to me.

THIS IS HILARIOUS THAT YOU HAVE POSTED THIS! Because just a couple of minutes ago I was attacked inside of the companion’s hall by the leader of the Gray-Manes and some women named Brill. Brill was immediately struck down by 5 sword blows all at once while the Gray mane wouldn’t go down. He would just go to one knee and get back up and go down again. It was rather weird. Glad I’m not the only one.

This is one of three characters and I'm level 25 and this is just now happening. Did it give you a bounty like it did me? I reloaded and left my wife/companion outside so she didn't gain me a bounty by shooting them with her arrows before they actually hit me. I think it lets you defend yourself just not attack first.

Well they just popped out of thin air and started attacking me. I didn't get a bounty because they struck first. It was wierd and random as hell. I blame it on letting my save file get too big. Things start getting buggy once that starts happining.

I thought that was only PS3. I'd like to see some patch notes....
