Random crashes and Bash Patch weirdness

Okay, you guys have been great at getting these mods to work for me, and I'm nearly in smooth running now, however, Bash Patch, 0.esp is being weird about Unlimited Rings/Amulets, ( the tweak doesn't work unless Unlimited Rings and Unlimited Amulets are installed as well, but BOSS says to use the Batch Patch Tweak for that...).

I'm also starting to get more frequent crashes. I hate to be a pest, but this is the best place to go for help for noobs such as myself.

What is Illumination Without, and what do you mean by you need the Unlimited XX mods installed? The standalone plugins have nothing to do with the bashed patch. Uninstall them. The unlimited XX bashed patch tweaks are under "Tweak Assorted" I think.

Illumination WIthout is Illumination Within without the extras like shutters and such. I'll try the WB Patch Tweak again, as I said, it's been weird lately. Have you spotted anything in the load order that could cause the random crashes?

Do you have Wrye Bash v283? IWR is not optimized, so you should upgrade to AWLS. What OBSE version and plugins are you using, if you are using any?


Edit: Are you using the latest version of Harvest Flora? The version bundled with OOO 1.33 is bugged.

Edit: Remove Slof's Horses "Base" and "Extra". MMM 3.7b3 includes the resources, so they are not necessary. Uninstall the mod entirely. One thing that could cause crashing is over-taxing your system. Try removing OOO-WaterFish, and you need to update MMM Diverse Waterlife.

I'm using WB 283, OBSE 0018 (no plugins) and as for Harvest Flora... When it was mentioned in a previous post, I looked and found a crapload of various ones, so I just walked away from that for the moment. It didn't seem important to waste your and other helpful peoples' time asking about it.


EDIT: Well the game will crash in a small building just as easily as outside, so never occured to me that it might be something like OOO-Water

The version number on the latest HF release was not updated, but the latest release is indeed 3.0.1.

Edit: It would be so nice to have that mod re-uploaded with that one change. We have to ask that question every time, no way to tell...

Bash is saying that "One or more masters are missing." about Harvest Flora. I uninstalled previous then ran OMOD and have:

what's missing please?

EDIT: Nvm, it was in the folder, but the OMOD didn't pick it up, so had to drag it over manually.

Yeah, i found the Harvest.esp that the OMOD didn't install so WB isn't complaining about that anymore. :)

Wrye Bash complains for a reason (unlike some other tools *cough* OBMM *cough*...) If you install an OMOD with a black square, the results may not be pretty, especially if the plugin OBMM has detected as conflicting was not installed by OBMM. It will not install the conflicting plugin, but it will remove the installed plugin that was conflicting. Yup, just have to reactivate the OMOD, and then everything is all good again...too bad if you just spent an hour installing OOO 1.33 or something, still gotta start over...

So far, the hardest part about getting all this to work has been FCOM. Too many plugins. I like nice tidy OMOD's. But I think my FCOM worries are over as long as I don't have to reinstall the game. :P

Keep a copy of your load order around so that you can remember what you need to have installed, or something close to it. (Requirements may change a little bit with future updates...but probably not much.)
