Random CTD when entering perk tree screen?

Post » Thu Oct 17, 2013 4:48 am

Random CTD's happen when I enter Perk tree screen.

I tried BOSS.Tes5edit,reinstall of game, seems to happen mostly when entering perk tree... could it be a sound that plays that is corrupted as it makes that transition into the perk tree screen?,cause it happens almost immediately

I would suggest to disable all your mod's, start the game and enter the Perk tree.

If it works, enable one mode every time and repeat that until it crashes again !!!!! (you haven't to much mode's, so that shouldn't be a problem...i guess).

Either way you should disable your mods, like i said - or you could enable the Papyrus log debugger - otherwise nobody will know what's the cause of your ctd's.

Actually it shouldn't happen randomly, without a cause.

Hmm, but you could just try to verify your game Cache files via steam. (That's easy to be done...) (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
