I've been getting the mystery sound and the ...? thing in the corner of my screen. Is this supposed to do something i don't understand it's happened many times before but i don't see anything. Am i missing something can someone fill me in on what exactly the whole sound and message means? Thanks!

It's a result of the Wild Wasteland Trait.

Means you've stumbled onto something that's slightly different than it would be if you hadn't taken the trait.

Not everything is crazy and obvious with the trait, some very subtle stuff.

Oh thanks for clarifying that i wasn't sure if it was just like the stuff in f3.

Guess i'll have to keep a better eye out for weird things around the area it happened. Thanks

While in the Ultra-Luxe doing Beyond the Beef, I got the Wild Wilderness icon displayed in the corner when I found the investigator.

I don't know if it always does that or what (since it's my first time playing through) but I didn't find anything that didn't seem to be apart from the quest.

However, when i first walked out of Doc's house at the beginning, I got the icon and some music and a refrigerator appeared in front of me; it contained a skeleton and some unique named hat. Though the name of the hat tells ME it should give a LUCK bonus, it simply has +1 PER :/
