I have followed the steps on the stickied post on this forum, AKA changing the bUseThreadedAI to 1, added the iNumHWThreads = 2, some posters on forums said to change that value to 1. I have also tried running in compatability mode, installing the unofficial patch, changing my graphics settings. I already had K-Lite codec pack already installed so there was no need to do that. I have downloaded and placed the d3d.dll file some said that had worked. I have ran and used GFWL and still no luck. To be honest I have run out of ideas, so I have decided to post to see if some other minds could point me in the right direction! CHeers!

I dont mean to nit pick , but how often are you seeing a freeze?

And to double check ... you did install outside of Programfiles(x86) ?

And by the way ... where are you in game?

It feels like a somewhat random occurrence, but it can go from just 30 seconds into the game, up to about 20 minutes. As for installation. I have the steam version of Fallout 3 goty edition, which is not installed in Programfiles(x86)
