Apologies if this isn't a new topic...

Just installed the game, and suffered from multiple crashes.

The game is fully updated, and I only installed Games for Windows today so it should be the latest version.

My PC is running Windows 7, and the specs are:

INTEL CORE I3 540 (3.06 GHZ, 4MB CACHE, 733MHZ GFX)

ASUS P7H55-M MOTHERBOARD

4GB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHZ RAM

nVidia 260GTX 896MB PCI-E Gaming Graphics Card

500GB S-ATA 7200RPM Hard Drive

The game runs fine for a while, but then it'll just freeze...oh, and all sounds work fine throughout the game until you have an actual conversation, at which point they go quiet and I have to read the convo...

Any help would be much appreciated.


I'm running the vanilla game, no add-ons, no MODs, just the original Fallout 3. I understand there are also unofficial patches I could download and install, but I have no idea how I'd get them or how I'd install them.
