Random noise help

I have a few playthroughs with fallout new vegas so I'm not new to the game.

Its kind of hard to expain. Lately I've been hearing a new sound. It sounds like a victory tune thats about 5 seconds long. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing to trigger it. Everytime I hear it it catches me off guard and I don't know what triggered it.

I know practically every sound effect in the game. I know the sound is not for a new level, a drug or food wearing off, the karma sound or anything like that.

It seems like the sound happens more often after a large fight when I kill a few people but during that time I've usually did a lot like switch guns, take drugs and meds, change gear etc so I couldn't know what triggered it.

I notice that Ive never heard this sound until I switched from my old standard tv to my new hd tv, could this have something to do with it?

Also I have never used Ede as a companion until now so not sure if he has something to do with it.

I know this is just something small. It's not really a big deal but its just so annoying keep hearing this "new" sound and not know what's triggering it.
