Random Objectives

I think one of the problems with Brink that I have noticed is after a while it does get slightly repetitive, I love this game to bits and I thought of an idea that would make me love it even more.
Random objectives...It's simple, Say the first map Aquarium, The normal way to do it is Defend/Destroy Door then Escort/Stop Person, But imagine if they were the objectives for one match but the next time you played it there were still only two objectives but this time they were totally different like Repairing this or Deliver that, I think the game would last massively longer.
I can Only Hope Splash Damage see this and hopefully you guys and gals are up for it :)

Yeah I suggested something similar to this too. Though I believe the idea could only be executed by making maps specific to random objectives. The maps we have now are too linear and only really work well with the way the objectives are now.

There have actually been quite a few topics discussing this idea already, which is a good thing. To be quite honest I was expecting Brink to have objectives that changed depending upon the conditions of the match. That is not to say that Brink is bad but it certainly did not revolutionize the genre.

I'd rather have multi-layered missions where you can bypass certain objectives and come back to them later. Or ones where both sides have objectives, and when one side completes one, BOTH teams change what their primary objective is. Make it so there are two balanced objectives at first, and if one team finishes their objective while the other team is making progress, you go into overtime until they either succeed or are interrupted. At that point, if both teams finished the objective, there's a second balanced set of objectives, but if one team has come out ahead, their next objective is more of a challenge to complete. But the team which lost the first objective also has a counter-objective, which is harder than the leading team's mission, but lets them turn the match around. A mission like this would produce multiple possible endings, A decisive and a close victory for either side, and several paths to a stalemate.
