Random question about Dragon burial mounds

Post » Thu Oct 01, 2015 4:29 am

So I was just wondering, after watching Alduin revive that one dragon while doing the main quest, is it possible to watch him do that with the other burial mounds that you come across in skyrim, i know that you get that map for delphine

It is true, he does that whole revive thing. That's when you can stop it mid way, causing it to be a Skeletal Dragon, or let him continue and fight one that can fly. Unfortunately the all happen at certain main quests. Your gonna have to look it up, cause some happen only at certain times, it isn't when you show up.

that is really cool, to learn something new about a game that you have been playing for years is just awesome

Your welcome, I know how cool these games and their lore are. But I've never been able to find all Dragon Burial sites in time. Trust me, it's hard.

Near Kynesgrove during "A Blade in the Dark" - Sahloknir

After "A Blade in the Dark", halfway between Rorickstead and Whiterun. - Voljotnaak

When traveling to Sky Haven Temple near Rorickstead. - Nahagliiv

Before entering Mzark, exit Blackreach through the Radbthar Lift while recovering the Dragon Scroll to read at the Time Wound. - Viinturuth

Feel free to add any others.

EDIT added the names to the Dragons

You have to do it right as Alduin is beginning it.

If you look at the list of named dragons on the UESP wiki, there are several marked as "Buried in a mound..." and you can potential be there when Alduin resurrects them. I haven't seen Ohdaviing's recall, but I have the others.
