RANDOM VILLAGE ATTACKS!

Todd Howard was talking about it in some interviews and i think its in the podcast. But if you think about it, It would be the perfect way to handle it is it not? He wasn't quite clear on the other part about the disposition but atleast thats ok and also there using radiant story to generate random assassin quests to kill random people. now think IF there was a set amount of npcs in the game how would it let you go on unlimited assassin contracts which is what he said you can do.

I see. Well, then I did miss it and I still think it's strange. Skyrim doesn't exactly sound like Imperial immigrant paradise to me. Well if they have to "go" anyway, no problems at all, but if they're supposed to be people you meet more often, then it'll be all too obvious soon enough they lack the depth of the orginal NPCs, unless Beth knows a way how to handle this. These NPCs need a good name, daily schedule and a way how to fit into town, would the game be able to randomize this in a believable way?
"Before his untimely death at the hands of a mysterious, shirtless Nord wearing a stupid horned helmet, my brother needed somebody to buy him a new pair of pants."

He never did get those pants. :stare:

"Could you be a dear and get me them so that his spirit won't come back to haunt us for all of eternity? It'd be much appreciated."

xD In all seriousness though, it'd be silly if this were to happen in game.

That's a big question that I would like answered to man trust me, but it does seem like it could get a bit to overdone. But if what they say about the radiant story's power is true then they should be able to use it to not only bring in new people but give them something to do I don't see why not they have 5 months to do it.

So we just gotta hope, but i have faith in Bethesda and believe that they can pull it off easy.

If you played Oblivion, know what they promised, saw the E3 demo vid: well, that's when you start weeping. I don't want to be a doomsayer or one of them who didn't accept the changes after Morrowind, but I'm rather skeptical now.

True that was rather upsetting but you have to remember that they didn't have nearly as much money, manpower, time, and most importantly solid AI and graphical technology.

But now they have all of that and some really talented people so my hopes are up.
