Im doing the NCR quest line and im supposed to talk to ranger grant about protecting president kimball.

The problem is hes NE of the share croppers farm. Ive tried resting but he wont go back to hoover dam.

I went there, talked to him, agreed to protect the president, then the screen fades to black and the quest auto fails after i get my controls back.

What the hell is going on?
