Has anyone ever figured a way to get on top of the buildings overlooking Ranger Morales' corpse to loot the Fiend snipers? Wasn't a big deal on my main play throughs as I usually had plenty of gear and cash by that point but I'm playing a DID character that reports to Camp McCarran and does that unmarked quest first off and I hate letting good loot go to waste at that low level.

I haven't ever tried, but you might be able to try the 5mm stacking trick or maybe the very difficult http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loc8TTIylEg&feature=related.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the 5mm stacking trick and I think it would have worked eventually but by the time I got it done it probably would be quicker to just go find some more fiends to hunt :wink_smile: .

You could try shooting the Fiends off the roof with a Gauss Rifle or AMR, some kind of weapon that sends bodies flying. Or with a Missile Launcher, since you can loot the body off of any piece of Fiend flesh that ends up on the ground.

Or you could toss grenades up there and blow parts of the bodies down. That should work. Heck, if you use dynamite it wouldn't even be that expensive.

Just did this unmarked quest for the first time based on your thread. I wouldn't worry about the loot of the 'snipers' on the roof through. They just have average guns, no sniper rifles, and usually aren't worth looting once you progress in the game. Mostly caravan shotguns and varimant rifles on them. You may find a hunting rifle now and then, but I don't think its worth the effort of trying to get up there.
