[req] Ranges Of Equipment Ratings

Is there a mod that adds different grades of armor and weapons to the game like Franscesco's and other Oblivion overhaul mods?

For example: There are glass boots but what if there were 'cheap glass boots' or 'fine glass boots' in the level list.

Not to my knowledge.

There definitely should be.

Hmm, this should be a relatively easy mod to do, I might take it up.

After all it's just duplicating existing armors and modifying stats up or down and names to reflect. Would defiletny add a lot more variety.

One of these might work for you:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7344, sounds like it needs v2 of farrps' Weapon Compilation Mod installed. I can't find the link to Pseron Wyrd's hosted copy.

I was thinking about something like this a while ago. I opened up Fliggerty's Armor Project to take out some stuff I didn't like and try and weaken a few others (not that I did a very good job with consistency there ;\) and while I was in there I took the liberty of putting some of Hedgehog's stuff in as "Quality _______ Somethingorother" instead of using it as a replacer. Again, I did an awful, awful job with the balancing. So much so that I managed to make a few of them around daedric level rather than slightly stronger than their counterparts and can't bring myself to use them when I find them in game :<
Ahhh... I'm going to have to fix that up sooner or later.
A mod like this made by somebody actually willing to spend more than an afternoon on it would add a lot of fun to the whole dungeon crawling aspect of the game.

Also, thanks Dragon32. I'm gonna give one of these a look.
