There are one or two odd threads writing on this and I am really surprised this is not a prioritized issue since I believe UNLOCKS and ACHIEVEMENTS are only obtained through playing on Ranked Servers.

Main problem: Stuck at Lobby screen

1. Even where there are 16 players!
2. Sometimes the countdown starts.. but will be stuck at number 1 and the ticking continues
3. If a person leaves/joins the lobby, the countdown will reset. But usually it will lead to problem #2.

If this is a real bug, please please fix it as I do not want to waste my time playing on servers that will not count towards my achievements and unlocks.. Kinda pointless to be LVL20 but have less equipment than a LVL5 just cause playing on unranked server.

Those who face this problem, please reply and make sure the admins notice this bug and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

I couldn't actually play a multiplayer match last night because of these problems.

They had troubles with the demo servers as well and still released the game with knowen issues. i spent almost $70 to get limited edition and feels as I'm a beta tester. They need to fix this issue and any attempts to conact the developer has fallen on deaf ears. Its a shame that this amazing game is having these problems.

bump it hasnt worked at all since launch i have only been able to get into 2 ranked games and this is happening on all servers i go on no matter if its 6 people or 16

Ranked Server matches won't pop.

I've been able to get into one game since last night, and I've played about 7 hours of MP. It was through the quick match function, but I haven't been able to get in since. The game started with only 6 people in the lobby. Even though we played for a long time before the server got gay, none of our unlocks or progress saved, minus the experience on our player level.

Just tried joining a ton of ranked servers, ever single one was bugged. This is ridiculous.

Way too many bugs, and a game that you can hardly get into a server... Doesn't quite feel worth my money...

Game is still broken in regards to ranked play.
Devs are still silent.

My roommate and I both bought this game, and both of us are having this problem. Every ranked server we try to play in gets stuck on 1 second in the countdown and just stays there. The ranked servers are the only ones that allow unlocks, this needs to be fixed soon, I didn't pay $60 to be in a Beta.

I have people waiting in a team instant action server right now. We only need two more to get the game started. Use Quickmatch -> Team instant action and it should put you in with us, since the countdown glitch seems to remove the servers from the autoqueue functionality.

You think you know the answer, but you do not. I have tried quickmatch, tried joinign servers in the browser. ALL OF THEM get stuck at launch. They sit at 1 and just tick, over and over, unless someone joins, then they start back at 10 and tick at 1 again. Stop telling people things are not broken. They clearly are.

Yes, I do feel I need to clarify my earlier post, I didn't just randomly try one or two servers then give up, I went through almost every open server I could find (something like 15-20 servers) all of these got stuck at 1. I waited in at least five of these servers for upwards of 20 minutes, none of them ever started. Also all of these servers had more than the prerequisite 6 players necessary to start a game. Quick match just put me into an empty server that no one else ever joined.

Please understand that I am not completely ruling out the idea that your solution might work, but there is definitely a large problem that needs fixing, I wouldn't be posting here unless I'd tried everything I could think of and thoroughly confirmed the problem.

i think some one needs to take a chill pill also i see a flaw in your argument 1. we are not saying the rank matchs are not broken we are just saying to try quick match 2. so your saying your right and any one who says difrently is wrong? 3. this agument is now null and void becase i have sent an email and a message to the develpors and the forum admin now we just half to wait for them to respond so in the mean time stop beating up on us we are not the creators we are just aksing people to try it thank you good day.

At least you can find a server. i was able to get on a couple of servers early this morning (around 2 am) but since i got home from work and got my single player fix, i went through 12 servers and every last one of them was messed up, even official servers weren't working. The last one i was in had that count down bug, where it'd get to 1 and then a few seconds later, start back at 10. like a bad pete-repeat joke.

tried the fix and still no dice. Devs can you please get on this issue or at least in some way acknowledge it?

I too have only managed to actually play on a ranked server ONCE. I preordered this game and was super excited for it, but now I am seriously regretting my decision. Why have we heard no word from Crytek/EA? It would be nice to know that at least these issues are being addressed. Instead, all we get is a half-broken game and dead silence from the only people that can fix it. Hopefully this will be addressed very soon, or I am just not going to buy another Crytek game and will make sure none of my friends do as well.

Agreed, ranked multiplayer for the moment is a nightmare...works once every 30 or so tries...other then that great game

My point is, there are two of you saying that quick match works for everyone. You yourself accused me of not having tried it, when in actuality I have. It doesn't work for most of us. Take your own chill pill, and maybe brush up on your English skills.

So i was so excited for this release.. i went out and sold all my crappy 360 games for my PC version of Crysis 2 on release day cause i was broke,so i go in and the first thing i wanna do is check out single-player so i fire the game up playing ,playing, playing for like two to three hours,then i go over to multiplayer and login.... cool.... enter serial code!, it tells me i need a valid code, so i enter it fire up MP try to go into a server Bam Serial Code in use WTF?? i got pirated already! holy-****! not a good thing.I go over again bam serial code error ok ok somethings wrong here.so then i search forums yadda yadda lower case no dashes lower case dashes bam worked and fixed,so after about 30 minutes of that crap i try to get on a custom server, full, full, full, got it ..yes!ok cool did he really just shoot me? he wasn't even looking at me? did he just shoot me? he shot the sniper rifle eight miles away from me, seriously? whatever laggy servers...not! there all laggy, ok lets go into a ranked crytek server nothing absolutely nothing. I sit and waited for 1 hour in one server last night lmao are you serious 1 hour? SO needless to say ever since then i have been playing on and off SP and MP trying to get into ranked servers in hopes Gamespy would fix there Junky system, and or crytek would get on them about it, but no i just paid 61 dollars actually more then that if you add up the real price of the games i traded in towards the purchase for a GODD*** Crysis Chatroom with a single-player game added onto it lol are you kidding me??? FIX YOUR SHIZ MAN!!!!!!!!

2 days into its release and already its needing a major fix.
If i didnt receive the redeem code i would have thought its a leakage or something.

I got into 1 ranked match all day.

Boo.
