rant : Fallout: New Vegas

I watched some fallout new vegas gameplay and The people look like the same PEOPLE FROM FALLLOUT 3 WHICH I PLAYED AND HAVE!!!!!!!! wtf did they just copy paste people from fallout 3 and put them in new vegas?!?!!?!?!?? I dont want to look at mister lopez or sara lyons or elder lyons just re named and with diff clothes!!!!!!!! FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to wait another 5 years, you'll have some similar looking characters
anyway, do you have proof of these lyons family look-alikes?

Well, you could say that people in Fallout 3 look a little bit too similar to people in Oblivion. These are things you have to expect when games are using the same engine. Wait a few years for Bethesda to make a new engine and develop Fallout 4 on that one.

If you don't want to buy the game because there are similarities in how people look, then don't. Complaining about how the game looks because it runs off the same engine won't make anything different.

New Vegas uses the Fallout 3 engine as its base; it has tweaked some aspects but I imagine facegen is still largely the same. I haven't noticed any look-a-likes myself but perhaps I simply haven't been looking hard enough.

I doubt Obsidian has taken any existing FO3 faces and plopped them in to NV but I also imagine some characters will look similar.

You will see a lot of similarities between the game, since they are both on the same engine and Obsidian just added a story line pretty much and not much tweaking.

Fair Enough, i am sorry for doubting.
However i already knew their would be some duplicates. Because Fallout 3 is its base. As long as i dont see more than 25+ copies i wont mind

There will be some look alikes, so what? Game is bad because of that? For me it's their brains that matter. If things about New Vegas are true they will have more to say then "Good option, Neutral Option, Bad Option." It's been said before it's the same engine as FO3, we are going to have to wait till FO4 for a new engine but then people will complain that the people in FO4 look like people in the other new Beth games that will use then same engine >.<.

Ok, so three extremly old men with beards are identical triplets? And two young hispanic girls with ponytails are twins?

I can see that the old men are a bit similar, since, well, they're old men. Lot of wrinkles, lot of facial hair. But the girls, not at all. And as been said, it's hard to make really unique characters on this engine that Fallout now uses. Btw, how many clones did you not see in Fallout 3 alone?
