Really? Am I the only person who liked this CD more then his last one? Don't get me wrong, his last CD was great too, but I just like this one more for some reason.

You are the only person I know of that like it.

I never liked Kid Cudi too much to begin with. Besides, he's more of a singer than an actual rapper..

I liked him in Memories - David Guetta and Prayer - Kid Cudi, but that's it. Nowhere else. To be honest, I haven't actually heard that much of his stuff, and I might simply missing the good songs..

Though i'm not a fan of the entire genre ( I find it to be to aggressive or sixually explicit) I do like The Black Eyed Peas since every song of theirs makes me want to friggin' dance, anywhere, anytime.

Also, I have an unnatural obsession with M.I.A's Paper Planes.

"Soundtrack to my Life" by Kid Cudi is a great song and my favorite by him so far.

I feel really bad listening to Immortal Technique on Veteran's Day, but he's sooooo good. I can't help it :( I can't link to anything, but "Point of No Return" and "Dance with the Devil" are two high up in the ranks.

Eminem's "White America" is a powerful, amazing song.

Yeah it is. "Uncle Sam" by Brother Ali (just search that on YouTube) is another you should listen to for that type of message. Or, like in my previous post, anything by Immortal Technique (though he's waaay more aggressive about it).

Question for y'all: East Coast and West Coast rapping. I always see them being compared and contrasted. What are you thoughts on it? Do they really sound that distinctly different? Which do you prefer?

Yeah, that goes back a long ways that most would say pretty much ended with the deaths of 2pac and biggie, at least, they stopped pitting them against each other In the media. I think they do sound vastly different, just like mid-west and southern rap have their own distinct sound. I prefer westcoast, but I'm biasist seeing as how I live in CA and all. Though my favorite of all time is BTNH, and they are mid-west. I love all "sides" for their different sounds and wordplay.

West -Westside Connection
East - Wu-Tang
Mid-west - Bone Thugs
South - Nappy Roots

Bad, definitely bad. Not sure which is worse:
Soulja Boy's Pretty Boy Swag
Nicki Manaj Your Love
Drake Fancy

Oh you fancy huh?

I'm probably in the minority here but I really am liking Kanye's new album.

Best rap album of all time ~ Dr Dre The Chronic

I'm more of an old school fan, like Beastie Boys, Run DMC, and Public Enemy. Not that big into todays rap.

I love that list. Westside Connection is definitely underrated, at least down here in the south. I would have to replace Nappy Roots with UGK. Just never could get into their music too much.

I can't pick any single album, I just like a whole bunch of stuff. It all depends on my mood.

Lately I've been in a "Doctors Advocate - The Game" mood.. (Not an album, just a song. Wait.. It might be the name of the album, I forgot.. :P)

Edit: Yup, the song "Doctors Advocate" from the Game album titled; Doctors Advocate.

Haha, same here. I got the Jay-Z greatest hits because it was 2 for 25 too, which is also amazing.

What's everyone's favorite songs on Kanye's new album? Mine are Dark Fantasy, All of the Lights, Hell of a Life and Blame Game.

Lol I forgot about the interlude, its too epic playing that first. I also love the line, "We tried to drink until the pain over, but whats worse the pain or the hangover?"
