Maybe, I just liked that song, never put much thought into it to be honest. His style has changed a lot though, no doubt about that. I don't mind it really, I think the "Old is always best" thing is a tired cliché anyway and usually not true, my favourite album of his is The Carter 2, his earliest stuff isn't bad, but not my albums of choice to put it that way.
I like his older stuff too. I just got "Prom Queen", "Knockout", and "[censored], Money, Weed". The first two, you can tell he's been inspired by punk rock. PMW is more love rap than anything else. I don't have a favorite album of his, I like individual songs. I think he's at his best when he features in other songs though.
