"Hellohihey"

Just found it today on my "Gift of Gab" Pandora station. I'm really falling in love with this kind of hip-hop.

Note: The more I listen to Eminem, the more I find how clever his rhymes are. Take the following:

So I'm signing cds while police fingerprint me
They're for the judge's daughter, but his grudge is against me

Yes, there's the standard rhyme at the end of each line ("me" rhymes with "me") but there's the rhyme of "judge's" and "grudge is" in the 2nd line. It's so smart. He does that in a lot of songs but I think that's one of his more subtle ones.

"It ain't like me to split a piece 'a dry pita
I'll be the S-L to the I-M to the S-H-A-D-Y
And I don't need a tank top to be a wife beater"

the second line is amazing...

this one is even better

"Cause I've been treated like dirt befo' ya
And love is evil, spelled backwards, I'll show ya"

I think my favorite of that entire album is:

"Y'all are Eminem backwards; "Mini Me"s."

My friend pointed that out to me and I was like "Hmmm...hmmm...oh...WHAAAAAT!?"

Eminem fans might like On Fire from the Relapse album. Lyrics are pretty hard.

It took me a good 10 minutes to find it. Here's to save others from the trouble. Personally, Im sorta disappointed. Drake's verse is pretty good though.

See, Im not a big fan of rhyming "me" with "me" but I agree that he have some of the best rhymes in the game right now.

So, I listened to it three times, and I can't tell the difference between Drake and Lil Wayne . Not joking, the only way I can tell the difference is the speed of the flow. But all in all one of the better ones Ive heard from him. IDK, I just cant get past his flow, its not smooth to me, it sounds choppy.

Anyway, there are rumors that Bizzy Bone is gonna sign with Young Money, that should be interesting if it turns out to be true.

Shhh...All that matters is more exposure for them haha.

Any recommendations on Jedi Mind Tricks albums/songs? They pop up everyone once in a while on Pandora ("Razorblade Salvation" today so far) and I love their style.

Nah, this isn't a mixtape. "I am not a human being" is the eight studio album.

I see. Is it worth it? Because I listened to a few songs on Youtube, and none of them seem very special to me. Im disappointed in Weezy. Even Rebirth was better..

It was a little short, only 10 songs, but I liked all of them. "What's wrong with them feat. Nicki" is amazing, I love that song. I happened to have a bit of money on hand so I didn't really think much about it, it was worth the 8 bucks (roughly) to me because money comes and goes, I can enjoy that music forever pretty much and that's worth quite a bit to me. I didn't really like Rebirth, "Drop the world" was good, but the rest was kinda meh  I still own the album, and I don't hate it, but I thought "I am not a human being" was better, despite being shorter.

Quality is worth more than quantity. I'll give "What's Wrong With Them" a listen. Thanks. :D

Forgot to mention, the album is only available digitally at the moment, and when the retail copy comes out it'll apparently have two more songs on it.

Also, some trivia. The songs on this album were actually supposed to be on The Carter IV, but Weezy decided to start over from scratch on that album once he's out of jail, so they released this to get the music out. I'm not going to complain about it not being a free mixtape, because honestly, Lil Wayne has released more than his share of those already.

Just gave "What's Wrong With Them" a listen. Not bad. Weezy is a little too impressed with Travis Barker though. :P You can tell from all his recent songs, but especially this one.

Maybe, I just liked that song, never put much thought into it to be honest. His style has changed a lot though, no doubt about that. I don't mind it really, I think the "Old is always best" thing is a tired cliché anyway and usually not true, my favourite album of his is The Carter 2, his earliest stuff isn't bad, but not my albums of choice to put it that way.

I like his older stuff too. I just got "Prom Queen", "Knockout", and "[censored], Money, Weed". The first two, you can tell he's been inspired by punk rock. PMW is more love rap than anything else. I don't have a favorite album of his, I like individual songs. I think he's at his best when he features in other songs though.

If I had to list my Weezy favorite songs/verses, this would be it. (looking at my iTunes library, Im just gonna type the original artist)

Respect My Conglomerate - Busta Rhymes
Arab Money (Remix) - Busta Rhymes
Forever - Drake
Im Goin' In - Drake
My Life - The Game
Let It Rock - Kevin Rudolf
I Made It - Kevin Rudolf
Put On (Dedication III) - Lil Wayne
We Be Steady Mobbin' - Lil Wayne
Every Girl - Young Money
Go DJ - Lil Wayne
Mrs. Officer - Lil Wayne
Fireman - Lil Wayne
Drop the World - Lil Wayne
Get It Shawty Remix - Lloyd
Paper Planes Remix - M.I.A
Down - Jay Sean
Love In This Club Part 2 - Lil Wayne
Bed Rock - Young Money

I know, pretty long. :P

Note: This isn't even a quarter of my Weezy list, and not even a percentage of my Rap/Hip Hop collection. Just so ya'll know.
Anyone who is a Lil Wayne fan must listen to all of those songs. :D
If anyone has, tell me what you think of em, if you haven't give em a listen, and if you know others like em, please tell me about em!

That list was good...except for Bed Rock, [censored] that song :P Short dawg svcks, Gudda Gudda svcks and Nicki sounds like a smurf in that song. That song is just plain terrible and the whole theme is a flintstones pun...I hate the Flintstones...
