That list was good...except for Bed Rock, [censored] that song :P Short dawg svcks, Gudda Gudda svcks and Nicki sounds like a smurf in that song. That song is just plain terrible and the whole theme is a flintstones pun...I hate the Flintstones...

I liked the tune. Chorus was nice, and Tygas verse was amazing. Music video was pretty funny too.

To each his own, I didn't like the song, and I thought Weezy was fairly week in it compared to his other stuff, I've heard enough to know he can do better.

That much is true. Lil Wayne wasn't at his best, but Lloyd and Tyga definitely were, IMO. They're the ones which kinda made the song worth it.

I like his older stuff too. I just got "Prom Queen", "Knockout", and "[censored], Money, Weed". The first two, you can tell he's been inspired by punk rock. PMW is more love rap than anything else. I don't have a favorite album of his, I like individual songs. I think he's at his best when he features in other songs though.

If I had to list my Weezy favorite songs/verses, this would be it. (looking at my iTunes library, Im just gonna type the original artist)

Respect My Conglomerate - Busta Rhymes
Arab Money (Remix) - Busta Rhymes
Forever - Drake
Im Goin' In - Drake
My Life - The Game
Let It Rock - Kevin Rudolf
I Made It - Kevin Rudolf
Put On (Dedication III) - Lil Wayne
We Be Steady Mobbin' - Lil Wayne
Every Girl - Young Money
Go DJ - Lil Wayne
Mrs. Officer - Lil Wayne
Fireman - Lil Wayne
Drop the World - Lil Wayne
Get It Shawty Remix - Lloyd
Paper Planes Remix - M.I.A
Down - Jay Sean
Love In This Club Part 2 - Lil Wayne
Bed Rock - Young Money

I know, pretty long. :P

Note: This isn't even a quarter of my Weezy list, and not even a percentage of my Rap/Hip Hop collection. Just so ya'll know.
Anyone who is a Lil Wayne fan must listen to all of those songs. :D
If anyone has, tell me what you think of em, if you haven't give em a listen, and if you know others like em, please tell me about em!

I honestly hate Busta. I don't think it's good music to be able to rap fast. It's a useless skill. Eminem fast is one thing, but you can't understand what Busta says. F that.

On the Weezy note, Gonerrhea, Right Above It(obv), Hold Up, That Ain't Me, I Am Not A Human Being are all good from the new album.

edit: and Wayne's verse at the end of I Made It is absolutely amazing.

OMG *snip*

Really? I love fast rappers, Busta, BTNH, and Tech are the majority of what I listen to. I think it takes much more skill to rap fast than slow, thats one reason I cannot stand Lil' Wayne and his crew, they are incredibly slow and all sound the same.

Good stuff! :tops: He has some very clever rhymes, good flow (for the most part) and great speed. He just needs to master flowing with the beat (witch he is great at for the most part). I think if he had beats taylor made for him it would be sick. Also, better recording than just into a web cam :P

I know its your opinion, Im not trying to attack you for it, but is skill really a non-factor for you? Or am I misunderstanding something.

Haha, yeah. He works with what he's got. We actually tried to do "master recordings" where we record his voice into a mic and lay it over the beat on the computer. It sounded a lot better, but we never posted it online.

I'm not sure how much he practices before he records and that's definitely the fastest he's gone so I can't blame him for stumbling a bit lol.

One of his friends said they would make beats for him but I'm not sure what happened to that...

I'll pass on what you said to him.

Actually, I thought the stumbling was intentional given the subject matter :P

Some of it is haha.

Also, slow or fast, if the flow matches the beat and sounds good, then I'm happy.

Misunderstanding. Skill is important obviously. but I don't think speaking fast incorporates much of that skill.

I don't really like Busta much, he just happens to have made a couple good songs. And even those are good because of the other people featured in them. I love his tats. though. :D

Thanks for the song list, Gonerrhea sort of grew on me, and I'll check out the others too.

He is, I'm pretty sure. He's in a band, right?

I put that into the argument of "best acoustic cover of a rap song".
