Splash Damage is actually trying to lower the rating to Teen. It has been rumored that swearing has already been taken out.

No source, sorry.

I actually talked to one of the guys and he said that they were avoiding excessive swearing.. OK well heres what the guy said

"Hi there,

Great to hear you’re excited about Brink! We’re not ‘aiming’ for any particular rating to be honest – we’re just making decisions that we think are right for the game. We are consciously avoiding gore and excessive swearing since we don’t think that sort of stuff particularly fits the world of Brink. We’ll see what the ESRB bestows us with.

Kind regards,
Steve"

so yeah there

Whatever the rating is it won't bother me. Well if it was rated E I think we'd all have a problem there

halo is mostly moderate violence, colourful blood, no gore. tame, most importantly, appropriate language.
it scored M

fable 3
MA15+

fable 3 is far less well everything than halo 3 but the six and strong moral choices probably rank it as more mature.

brink seems fairly sanitary and the language is mild and best from what we've seen. expect MA15+ at the absolute worst case scenario..it may even fall under M. (for the yanks the difference is mild anyway, M means not recommended for under 15's and MA means not to be sold to under 15's)
