im having trouble which one i should choose for him, i already have jurry rigging, and i get complimentary vouchers to get weapon repair kits, so is it still worth it for full maintenance? or since i have those should i just go with old vaquero?

Vaquero. 33% extra RoF is just insane.

Raul is already a beast with the right weapon. I personally went with "Full Maintenance" just because I hate the decay rate on some of my weapons and armor. Of course I'm the guy who also made sure to get "Jury Rigging", and picks up almost every weapon and clothing item just for repairs. Its all personal opinion and mine will always be "Full Maintenance". Its just nice not to be burdened so much by repairing your stuff.

In my game, I went with Full Maintenance beecause it also effects how fast armor degrades - not just weapons alone. So that was useful as I'm obsessive about keeping all my gear in tip-top shape.

However, if you're having a bit of trouble with combat anywhere, you might want to take Old Vaquero instead so Raul can be more deadly to your enemies. But if you feel you can handle everything on your own, like I did, then it's not needed because there are other weapons that are almost as good as the "cowboy" weapons Old Vaquero affects. I'm fond of giving Raul the All American rifle myself.

I tend to choose Old Vaquero, mostly because I sympathize with Raul and want a good ending for him. Besides, Raul + Old Vaquero + Brush Gun makes him the second most lethal companion setup in the game after Cass + Hand of Vengeance + Riot Shotgun. Granted, my characters can usually handle things fine, but its still nice to have backup.

Full Maintenance is nice, but Regular Maintenance is usually enough, especially if you have high Repair already.

True, as far as having a high repair skill. Its just that he is the only follower I keep around and he friggin owns everything as is. Admittedly, I do hook him up with either an assault rifle or the "Survivalist Rifle" but I even have him set to "Don't shoot unless I do" and he will clear a vault or cave out before I can even get to the first corner. Its like racing him for kills sometimes.
:gun: " *#@&% Raul! Chill... Nevermind." :sadvaultboy:
