I do agree with you about the jack of plates it totally passed my mind when it came to the weight of the jack of plates so I will change that. Again I do agree with you about the rapier but I wanted to use the 17th century variant as it is my preferred weapon for a one on one duel. As the cutting abilities of the 16th century sidesword is minimal at best and would do little more than annoy anyone that you are fighting. Maybe if the powers that be allow it I may adjust her gear and add another weapon, her gear is relatively light so an extra 5lbs. or 8lbs. won't be much of a bother.

Feel free to adjust the gear, but I would say your options for adding more are iffy. You have a two blades and a crossbow already. If you wish to change your armor to Medium feel free to do so. As far as another weapon goes, let me know what you're thinking and we can discuss from there. I don't foresee it being a problem, I just don't want any walking arsenals.

Hahaha, maybe one day... you are in Morrowind after all. Dwemer contraptions galore!!

EDIT: I realized a previous post in this thread might have confused things a bit. We finished up the "reserved" posts, so anyone can feel free to go ahead and post! Either way, sometime in the afternoon tomorrow I'll get a post up to push us onward.

I agree that a jack of plates might end up as light or heavy armor depending on the coverage and thickness of the plates, but in my mind the 'by default' type be medium - and what a straightforward 'jack of plate' description would indicate. Judging by the photo and with the added knee, thigh and knee protection thrown in, in my mind it would end up as medium armor (by a thin margin, it's skirting the limit of light). But that's a minor detail.

Note : just looking a bit for sword pcitures, here's a site with a nice set : http://www.danelliarmouries.com/

I need to stop saying that. Every time I do, I literally fall asleep minutes later... must be a sleeping spell. o.O

Elissndre isn't a morning person, so i'll wait for the wake-up call from Oaken Hull (or whoever he will deputize..) to post. Sure she intended be awake, but with her habits, she will sleep until someone wakes her up (deliberately otr just being noisy), or it"s well past sunrise.

A few quick updates for some things:

- Prizrak, I noticed I still need to get your updated CS added to the cast. I'll do that today.

- As a note to everyone, I think it will be beneficial for the date to be included at the header of each post. Especially since there has been a bit of jumping around the timeline what with my post regarding Helheim Halfhound in the future (which is a timeline that will continue), and Mhund/Prizrak's posts that are slightly ahead of the rest of the party (i believe).

So yeah, I think the date of all posts should be included in the header, just to avoid timeline confusion.

EDIT: Also, maybe the inclusion of something like "Later that day..." in the event that something you post is in fact later on in the day, just to clarify to people that (in the case of Prizrak's last post) people aren't like "Wha? The day is already ending?"

Just wanted to give everyone a quick reminder to use the OOC thread, rather than posting "OOC" in the IC thread. It isn't really too bothersome to me, but it's counter-intuitive, and I don't want it to become a habit.

I'll hopefully be getting a post up soon.

EDIT: Made a quick little reply at work. I think it suffices for now, being that we're just doing a bit of "meet and greet" right now.

I won't be able to post until tomorrow, but I will be "waking" my character up and participating in the meet and greet. Sorry for the delay. Super busy @ work this week and last. :P

No worries. Life happens. I've had a very busy few days myself, and I can't say I'm "where I want to be" in the RP right now. Buuuuut I figure its best not to rush these things, keeping a focus on (hopefully) quality over quantity.

I do plan on pushing the plot (significantly) forward tomorrow. It would likely be later tomorrow, once I'm off work, so there is still a bit of time yet for you and others to get a post (or two) in before that happens.

P.S. notice how I say "likely" and "plan on," instead of "I'll definitely get something up"? Yeah, I'm hoping I don't fall asleep (like every other time I've dealt with absolutes).

EDIT: I just wanted to add a big THANK YOU to you all. To be more specific, I was just thinking about how I literally know nothing about ships, so I really appreciate you all helping me describe it a bit. I was thinking I should probably get at least a basic schematic of The Serpent's Wake up, even if my depiction of it ends up being totally sophomoric.

All in all, I really enjoy that you guys step in and flesh out a scene with me. It's wonderful. Have an ice cream. :icecream:
