Good news!
Also, I just finally was freed up enough to read the recent posts. Josephb, it's good to have you back sir! Elliot is easily the most roguish devil in the group, which I love. Really enjoying his development, and the fact that you integrated Zara was very entertaining. Looking forward to more!
Manu, I also enjoyed your latest post quite a lot. You certainly know the right way to incorporate spell casting in an RP setting, and Elissandre's diversity and innovation makes for an interesting read, and of course, a vital contribution to the party. I do have one concern, albeit very petty. The "worst" rooms in The Glowing Netch would be crappy for sure, but far from roach infested. Imagine a plain room, likely with no windows ore maybe one window if you're in an outer room, just big enough to fit one crappy, probably lumpy bed, maybe a dresser or a chest at the foot of the bed if you're lucky, and a bed-side table with a candle. That would be The Netch's crappiest rooms, which they wouldn't have a ton of since they aren't actually a complete dive. The Netch is one of the classier joints among the working class taverns, if that makes sense.
That having been said, I'm sure that Elissandre, being highborn and what not, could understandably perceive this place as a dump, so it's not a huge concern if that was your intent.
Finally, I'd just like to say that I'm going to give everyone until probably early afternoon to post if they want to before I break into full on fight scene shenanigans. I'm sort of expecting it to be sort of like an "action version" of The Serpent's Wake meal time scenes, where everyone has their own things going on. Should be pretty interesting.
If anyone has ideas or wants to coordinate with me, or others on how to play this scene out, let me/us know!
I already know that Oaken-Hull and Halfhound will be tossing bodies left and right, meanwhile Resdayn will likely be "battle-dancing," skirting around larger opponents and dodging, with the occasional flurry of blows to his assailants. So feel free to utilize that in your respective pieces!
