Since everyone is expecting the Dominion-Empire war in TES VI, hinted often in Skyrim. How would people react if TES VI was instead a prequel that took them by surprise?

By the way, I chose lore section as the changing of the timeline would effect lore fans most.

I would absolutely hate it. I dont think it will anyway because the next gen consoles will be able to sustain a more realistic battle experience for another Great War scenario.
