Reading books ingame

Just curious. Is anyone actually reading the Skyrim books ingame?

And if yes, which ones do you like the most?

Yep. I've always loved The Real Barenziah, and at the moment I'm collecting all of the Wolf Queen volumes. If there are multiple volumes I store them away until I have the whole set to read at once. On the whole, I'd say I prefer the books which aren't just details of this or that war or conquest. I need a more personal feeling story to really draw me in (that goes for books IRL too).

I don't go through reading all of them. Some are tedious, but I do read a bunch. I have a book collection that is neatly organized at my house.

I read only a few of them but I make sure that I open them all because some increase your skills or even give you quests.

I do at times and it's a very welcome break from the game: getting informed with history, lore or short stories. I just read a book that I had read 10 years ago in Morrowind. Good times. :)

I've begun collecting them for the first time ever. I never felt compelled to collect books in Morrowind or Oblivion.

And, yes, the bookshelves are cool.

Many books are old and I have read them already in previous games, but I'm reading the new ones and some older that I have forgotten :)

Tell me you read the ORIGINAL The Real Barenziah v2 from Daggerfall, not the tame, censored book put in the games since Morrowind.

Yes. Mostly books about the Dwemer, but some others as well. Journals/notes are always very interesting, too. The amount of detail they put into dungeons and their backstories is stupendous.

Lol they are some crazy long books. Vol 5 is like 40 PAGES!!!
I like to read the books but I don't read them enough, instead I hoard them put them in my bookshelves (best feature ever) and say to myself that I will read them all soon. Though after playing 155 hour in 2 weeks (Longest I have ever played a game) that time still hasn't come.

It will soon hopefully be time to have an evening with some books but the amount of quests I still have to do, that time seems so far.
:tes:

Edit: forgot to mention my favourite, Myths of Sheogorath. Great book.
I really wish I could meet Sheogorath, he is epic. I sure do miss the shivering Isles.

I'll read a book if it looks like it might have some new interesting lore or something like that. For the most part, though, I prefer to be out adventuring. I read the lore forums and http://www.imperial-library.info/ when I'm not playing the game.

I haven't! I'll make a note to look it up - no doubt it's in a wiki somewhere. Thanks for the tip. :)

I read a few, in time I'll probably read most of them. Most of the ones I read atm, are for skills I am working on or ones that give quests.
