real life brotherhood of steal

I am a huge fan of fallout and I when browsing the internet I couldnt help noticing some resimblence to brotherhood of steel and "TCU". I have no clue if this so called organization is large or just a one person operation but it was fun reading.

They start of with:

The Civilized Union has a history of fighting for human rights but also to bring a light to people that has not been so fortunate to receive it already. The way of the original society has been changed and modified to fit today's world but the basic ideas still remains.

The word civilized is used in the name of this union of man because we like to think that a civilized human being is not capable of doing the evil and monstrous actions that this union aims to defeat. By explaining the word civilized you get a clear picture of what the goal is for the Union.

Sounds kinda like the brotherhood spreading light in the wastelands dont you think?

Later they go on saying more stuff that can be resembled to the fallout games, like completing tasks and getting experience before you can get a higher membership and so on. FUN reading!!! :)

It's sounds vaguely like what Lyons wants to do with the BoS... vaguely; either way, it's nothing like what the REAL BoS from FO1&2 believe.

The Brotherhood do not spread the light throught the wastelands. Rather, they preserve the flame for the time when the world is ready again to see the light.

It has a resemblance to what Lyons was trying to do in Fallout 3, not the original goal of the Brotherhood of Steel. The Brotherhood of Steel as seen in past games, and indeed, even what the detachment lead by Elder Lyons before he took up defending the people of the Capitol Wasteland, the Outcasts in Fallout 3 are a better representation of what the Brotherhood of Steel was like back on the West Coast.
