Real Life Member Meetup

Thats perfectly understandable.

I thought so too. I'm not an unreasonable person (I wasn't one last time I checked) and my criteria for meeting random on-line people are really not unreasonably paranoid.

Veeno! Noo! From Alizee to Lillian! To the gay cat!

:P

Don't worry I'll change it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH2-TGUlwu4 (not feeling like rainbow-pooping cat flying through space, I meant... you know).

No, I'll pass, I think I'd rather head with John Lennon and the hippies over to Woodstock.

Isn't John Lennon kind of dead?

Wow! These locations are completely open to members, and I would of course allow strangers who would totally not pull [censored] off while armed with guns camp with me in the middle of the woods where no one can find me!

Yeah, obviously.

I'm tempted to bring a toy gun that looks real, and when the first person shows up, walk towards them, whip out the toy gun and be like "GET ON THE GROUND!"

Just to scare the [censored] out of them.

I've already covered the point http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1181846-real-life-member-meetup/page__view__findpost__p__17517853 and the sarcasm http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1181846-real-life-member-meetup/page__view__findpost__p__17517699.

And you think that's funny?

See, now I sort of don't want to meet you in real life ever, with or without guns.

Well hot damn, I best find a time machine and post it before you- we can bring them to the camp right?

But seriously, I wouldn't mind something like this but I am not willing to go all the way across the country, just to go into the woods with strangers.

We should have it in Forks (Washington), the home of Twilight. You all remembered to bring your guns right?

Q: Can I bring my gun(s)?
A: Yes, but please be careful and be sure to follow all gun safety guidelines.

Why on earth would we need guns?

And while we've all discussed this before, we've come to the realization that it's just not possible. There have been local meetings where people who happen to live within like an hour or two of each other meet up somewhere mutual for lunch or something, but nothing like a large gathering.

It can work. Though we would really need like 3-4 different meetings for the US. And that's not including Alaska or Hawaii.

Well I hope so. I'm sorry but after having cousins and friends shot dead in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosnian_War I wouldn't quite be able to appreciate the humour of such a joke.

And I'm sorry if this sounds bad, but don't blame guns. Someone had to pulled the trigger.

True, but then again if they didn't have guns they wouldn't have anything to pull. That's not my point, though. What I want to say is that I don't "blame guns" - of course I blame the people (and not even the people who actually shot the guns, it's not their fault that crazy madmen sent them into the war to kill other people and lots of them died as well so it's crap all over) but guns were the tool.

If anything I would imagine you would love guns. Your cousin was a hero, he fought and died for his country with guns.

Even if they used a club, blade, or arrow. Its not the weapon, but the person who chose to commit the murder.
