Real Life Skyrim Situations

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:55 am

I was walking to the coffee shop next to my office, when a bird (or something), flew overhead and cast a shadow passing across my field of vision.
"Holy~Smucking~Crap", I said.
I actuality started looking up, I expected to see a Dragon flying around, and was thinking of places of safety to run to in case it was an Elder Dragon. The collage of Indiana University has some Security, lets go to the campus!

Anyone else, ever found themselves acting 'in game' out of game?

and then a cop walks by and says "Don't think you can barter with me like one of those damned shopkeepers."

Well, I was using my lighter to light up my pipe and a random person on the street (I'm not joking.) Told me to be careful with the fire..... It made me think of when npc's say that to me in Skyrim.... Once they walked off I laughed to myself over it.... Heh heh

While playing Fable 3, I thought I saw a chest during a tv show and wondered how to open it, and during a commercial for local news, I was sure the announcer said something about hobbes.

My wife yells at me when I try to tell her something about my game; if I say 'I got attacked by a dragon and the giant it was fighting chased me.' She'll say 'It wasn't you! It was your character! It's just a game.' I try to tell her that I don't think it's really me; that I know it's a game and I'm just using a type of mental shorthand in trying to relate something interesting but she won't listen. I then started 'speaking in character (stupid accent and all) and she threw a shoe at me. As I ran away, I told her 'just wait til I learn some better shouts'...

My 'honey'd words don't seem to work on the I.U.P.D.

Yeah I did some work this weekend at a plant nursery slinging xmas trees and the owner had me split some wood for his bbq pit. Reminded me of what I do when I'm out of gold in-game. Skyrim makes it look easier than it is lol.

This one maybe isn't as bad but I was driving the other day when someone pulled out in front of me and I went "Arrrggghh I'll kick you all the way to Oblivion!" I felt a little silly as soon as I realised what I had said...

Those shoes could be worth some coin, you should hold on to 'em.

From everything that I've heard, researched, and experienced. It seems that she needs to die!
Anything else is just going to make her more angry.

(just kidding, please don't kill anyone)
