So, I am thinking of starting a fan fiction. I won't go into the details but it will involve a ghoul who was eighty at the time of the Great War and who is still alive in 2277. I will touch briefly on his life before the bombs and for that I need to know what events, if any, happened in the Fallout Universe since it's an alternate timeline. I need to know if things like The Yugoslav War or the War on Terror ever happened. If anyone could allieviate my curiosity on this subject I would be most grateful.

I think timeline alternation is more blended rather than abrupt. Things fade in slowly, which makes events pretty open.
