"Realiable Source Serving Corrupt Data"?!

Post » Fri Mar 28, 2014 1:19 pm

While downloading the final release patch today (Thursday) I get an option to repair after downloading ~320MB. Then while downloading a .77MB patch I get the error "Reliable Source Serving Corrupt Data". Is anyone else getting this error :(?

I didn't have any problems downloading the patch.

Mine downloaded, installed and says complete. But when I press Play, nothing happens. I see eso.exe in my task manager but the game doesn't launch.

I have a 250GB data cap per month. I really don't wanna redownload the client for the 5th time D: (4 times before due to install issues.)

My condolences for having to deal with a data cap. And my sincere respect for considering to play a MMO with one.

It's 250GB a month, and I usually get no where near that, but after downloading the game 4 times I have eaten 100gb of that data. Sad to say there is almost no ISP anywhere anymore that doesn't have a data cap along with high speed.

Indiana. We don't have access to the network infrastructure like some states have. I have to use ATT Uverse. Money Grubbing Ass holes.

I just spoke with ESO tech support and they basically told me I would have to uninstall the entire game, but that makes no sense because I can still run the client just fine when I shut the game down and run the application through the program folders.

This issue sounds to be more like an issue with their servers.

No cap for me, i'm back east. And i stream everything. I'd be broke if my plan had a cap on bandwidth.

it appears that your issue is isolated (no one else is reporting this error) so it does make sense that it is a local issue and not a server issue.

This is so frustrating. I played the first couple beta weekends, and I came back to patch my client up on tuesday and I had to re-install several times. I don't know what could be causing all this drama.

I think my best step is to reset my router.
