I use realistic fatigue, hunger and sleep turning off the panting and screen blur which was annoying. All of a sudden foods important and my inventory shows it.

I had SM Encumbrance Fatigue and I cant have an opinion about if it is best that Realistic Fatigue. Realistic Fatigue is a cool mod with epic fights and with SM Encumbrance you cant run all the time and you feel so important is a horse for a long trip. I would like to have both!

I dont like much the sounds with SM either.

...Oblivion doesnt start ...

Three things to check:

Make sure you have installed the .bsa as well as the .esp.
Make sure you are running OBSE.
If you use either of the two patches, make sure they load after the mods they are intended to patch.

Found the mod I was talking about: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4888

SM Fatigue does have sounds - if your fatigue gets too low, you start panting.

If you use MMM, Extra Wounding has effects on NPCs - if their health is low enough, they'll stumble and fall. This has helped me on innumerable occasions, as I can swoop in and get 3-4 hits before they get up.

Huh, I vaguely remember that (thinks the person who plays only a few hours a year). It's been a while... Can that be turned off?

There is one new mod called "Extended Game Mechanics"

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30790

It brings you new eat/drink/fatigue/luck system and more...

It was something very strange with the patchs. I tried everything, before, afther, but Oblivion doesnt start if one of patchs is activated. I deleted both so I think I can live without sleep in a bedroll if being a vampire and without sleep in campings.

Which mod has the "strange panting sound"...? Also, I just verified that you can turn off the panting in SM. I vaguely remember being annoyed by that, so that is probably what I'll do...but I am going to try RF, as I said. I would prefer if my PC were not the only one getting tired, but the SM Encumberance modification is nearly perfect for m, so we'll see if it goes entirely...

Im speaking about SM. I will also try it. Isnt a terrible thing, is just that I dont like because I can notice that is another different voice that my character have when fighting, for exemple. Please, If you see where can I turn it off, post it here. I didnt find it.

Set to 0: set realisticENC.bUseSound

I love having INI files, and I am so happy to have my desktop again with Notepad++ on it. The day Notepad++ can run on my MacBook Pro, I will like it a little bit more than I do now...
