Really awful clouds, is this a mod or vanilla?

Post » Sat Aug 23, 2014 10:45 am

Hello.

As far as I remember, Skyrim didn't have such bad clouds. I don't know if it's a certain mod or the game is actually like this. I have really low quality clouds floating about mountains and hills, and I can even get really close to them before they dissapear. They ruin the look of my whole game.

Here's a screen: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=304182502

Anybody know what this is?

Do you use lighting mods? I had a similar issue at one time using Realistic Lighting Overhaul. My issue was one of the optional plugins didnt need to be installed so there was a conflict.

Yeah, considering that we can see through your sword, I don't think this is just a cloud issue. Load order?

Yes I'm using transparent glass weapons and armor.

I've re-installed RLO with no success, other than that I use mod manager and the LOOT tool to sort my load order.

Know what the load order should look like?

From the RLO sticky, it may help you to remove the Adaptive Interiors, as was the case when I had that problem.

Now that's what I call a sword made of glass.

It appears everything is in that order.

I also have Climates of Tamriel but it's above RLO. I see no other conflicts. I also do not have adaptive interiors.

Your load order is messed up. The unofficial patches shouldn't be ordered like that for example. Also, you're using mods that clash with each other. WATER and Realistic Water, RLO and ELFX, CoT and RLO weathers. Basically, you should go over everything and also fix the load order. I'd recommend starting over from scratch frankly.
