I really feel like people need to stop talking about the &#3

At least in the sense of comparing it to Gamebryo. Gamebryo was a rendering engine. People literally blamed nearly everything on Gamebryo when the only thing it did was render graphics. I do not know the extent of this "new engine" and I don't think anyone does. So stop acting like the "new engine" may fix everything that was "wrong" (nothing that has been complained about) with Gameryo. Just to give you an idea, Pirates!, Zoo Tycoon, and Civilization IV all also use Gamebryo. Those games aren't very similar to Morrowind and Oblivion.

I think the word "Engine" just means "thing what runs the game" to most people. I always found "the engine doesn't support it" a strange thing to say when a game is being developed - do people think that games are born with particular abilities and nothing can change that? Madness.

On the other hand, both oblivion and fallout did have some issues which hopefully will be fixed for skyrim.

I know, but it gets irritating seeing people blame something for things it isn't at fault for. People need to stop talking about things like they know what they are talking about when they don't know what they are talking about.

I understand your point but I don't see why this is a separate thread. You're welcome to post something like this in a general discussion of the engine although I'd suggest curbing the hyperbole, hyperbolous statements tend to be responded to with hyperbolous statements.
