Do I really need a bashed patch?

Hi, I've got a question:
I'm wondering if I need a bashed patch. That's my mod list (I use wrye bash and for now my bashed patch is deactivated).
Currently that's my mod load order:

I would go with the Bashed Patch since you do have a few large mods.

Yes, you need a Bashed Patch. And, you need to make sure it has everything in it that is needed (choose each option on the left in the Build Window and see what is on the right to add) if there is nothing on the right, then you don't need that aspect, other than Leveled Lists, you always need Leveled Lists in the patch. And, you may not need or want everything that is on the right side, sometimes mod options that you are not using show up there, depends on how the mod was tagged.

The good news is, if you mess up the patch by adding something that should not be there, the game will not even load. If you leave out something that should be there, then the mod just does not work right.

Okay, I must admit that I'm asking this question because I've got a strange problem while playing.

Currently, I'm trying to play the DLC anchorage.
When I meet the first outcast soldier (the one that tells me to help his squad to cleanse the square), after facing the first few supermutants, there is a chance my game will crash, and I can't seem to understand the why.

I proceeded to deactivate the bashed patch and the game seemed to be going well, but crashed nonetheless.

But the problem seems really weird: it seems related to the mobs actually fighting between themselves (I experienced other crashes when meeting the blonde Enclave girl for the first time - when they start to clean the place while I'm trying to reach GNR radio)

So I wonder if you have any suggestions.

Well, you have a compatibility mod loading after Bashed Patch, that can have something to do with it. How did you set your load order?

Never overwrite a save slot, never load an Autosave are two things that will reduce crashing in this game. Turn off the Autosave features since your not using them and cell loads will happen faster.

I've moved the compatibility mod after the bashed patch because Boss doesn't suggest any tag and nothing gets imported inside the bashed patch, so I don't get the features that I should be getting.

How did I realise it? I realized it because I've tested around and saw that I didn't meet any creature with Blackened being before the bashed patch, while I've met many after moving it right down (e.g Iguana, new supermutants, etc). To playtest and check the problems I spent one day and I played fallout around 7-8 hours before noticing that something was definitely working as expected (where are those new creatures that I should be meeting?).

I've already disabled all the autosaves features, I save manually and never on a old slot

Not everything needs to be before (or rather included in the Patch to work) so experimentation is needed. Most of the time, you want compatibilities before the patch.

Also, what BOSS are you using? 2 or 3, because 2 was not updated for a long time, and 3 has the current load orders.

Okay, I've got two news and many doubts:

the first new is that I installed Fallout stutter remover and my game didn't crash anymore. Even with the blackened patch after the bashed patch.

the second new is that I wanted to listen to your tip and moved the blackened patch before the bashed patch - any chance that you use also the blackened patch and could assure me that I gotta put it before the bashed patch? I mean, right now, even after moving the compatibility patch before the bashed patch I'm meeting the same monsters but I'm not too practised about things work, so I wonder if before watching the effects on my game I gotta wait 72 hours to see the leveled lists respawning.

How do I check my boss version? I think I'm using Boss 2.1.1. , the last version I've found here:

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/10193/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout3%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D10193%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D166386&pUp=1

where is boss 3.0 ? O_o?

edit 2: found it here https://github.com/boss-developers/boss-code/releases/

Do you think it's really worth it to try it in such a little compilation of mods?

Edit 3: definitely worth it. Thanks.
