REALLY need to make pregnancies an option...

Just had to start a new vault because of some of the very flawed mechanics, but that's another story. I currently have two female dwellers residing in the only living quarters that I have, and I have four dwellers waiting to come inside. Two of them are males. If I bring them in and put them in the living quarters, they'll both auto-engage attempts at pregnancy. I don't want this right now. It should not be mandatory that they try to bang the women every time they're in the same living quarters. PLEASE change this so that it's optional. I want them to do it when I'm ready, not because they have no choice. I AM the Overseer, after all.

Yeah, but the problem with that is I just started, thus spending all caps on the essential things. I had to spend money to move rooms around the way I wanted them to be because the tutorial forces you to place them in specific spots, so I was at less than usual. It's just kind of stupid IMO that they'll always try to bang. It would be nice not to have to micro-manage gender so specifically.

If they are new, and you have no use for those males, why even bother to bring them in? They are invulnerable until you do so, so just let them cool their heels outside until you are ready for them.

If they are coming back from a wasteland trip with vital gear, then send the women out, bring the men in, and then recall the women before they get killed. Once again, the women will be invulnerable until you bring them in.

I have a living room riight after the vault door and I can't change it due to the dumb layout of mine... There should be an option to lock the bedroom door tbh because when I move my defenders around in an attack I end up getting someone pregnant by accident. It just happened again and Moira is AGAIN out of action in my vault because I accidentally dropped a level 1 noob in there by mistake...

OMG... Does this make Moira into a cougar? lol

What is so annoying is that Moira Brown is a level 50 character, wearing X-01 Mk IV Power Armour and carrying an Enhanced Fat Man... and now she is out of action YET AGAIN. A fat woman carrying a Fat Man is a bit ironic heh (yeah, I know being preggers isn't fat but it just sounds funnier).

In fact you should be able to click a button like on the Mr Handy that shows if the character can get pregnant or not. Hell, give them a gender preference option too.
