Hi Guys,

I've been trying to play the multiplayer but i'm have some serious issues and just getting completely owned of the battlefield!
It's becoming really off putting to play, i love the game but jeez! i survive more on COD and thats saying something.

I'm not the greatest online player on the planet and never will be but i really want to enjoy playing online without feeling like I'm letting the rest of my team down :(
no matter what weapon i'll use, how many bullets i hit someone with they'll always be able to turn around kill me first armoured up or not!!!

Any help from you guy's would be awesome

Im still adapting to the play style and map orientation but what i will say is dont run and gun like COD. Learn how to use your suit and where. Familiarise yourself with maps explore them and note down key areas of spawning interest. Learn to jump and shoot it will save you in many situations and use slide to your advantage. Join a clan where you will learn how to work as a team and learn from them tips and tricks they have come across. You will learn far more in a team than you will as individual.

You need to get used to your suit! Learn the maps, try out every weapon and perks! Use Proxy for example it will help you if a enemy is nearby. Hunter shows you footsteps of your opponents! If you have any questions add me (GT: DOOM996) or check out the following link: http://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=58918!

^ He is right, you can learn a lot playing with others. I don't mean to advertise our clan or anything but we have only set it up recently and we are looking for potential members here is a link to our clan thread buddy :)

I am on most days, though I have had serious issues with connection recently as one of my threads here shamefully exposes, so I am on the low for playing Xbox right now but you might want to take a look, you can play with us as much as you want and we can teach you a few tricks

I'm not great either at this or COD. I find with COD that I do best by being careful, checking corners, using longer range weapons and picking people off.

With crysis I'd say move quickly, virtually all the time. If you're not moving in this game, then be cloaked. Maneuverability and proximity alarm are two pretty useful suit modules to equip. Maneuverability makes you quicker ie harder to shoot and you have an advantage if you spot someone of getting to them quickly.

Proximity alarm lets you know if someone is close by. If they are and you can't see them. Run. And quick. Standing still and waiting to see them often results in death. Believe me I've learned that the hard way. Alternatively if they're cloaked, go max armour then move, or jump and see if they will shoot at you straight out of cloak. Then they're an easy target. If they're not a noob though you're still probably dead.

Keeping moving and quickly is the key IMO. It's not like COD where you can afford to pin an area down and stand still while shooting. Because there can be several cloaked enemies behind you, who've you've not even seen. And the speed of movement means people can get to you fast.
