I didn't see all too many reasons I care about on that list or recognize as making PC gaming, specifically, good this year, to be honest. Gaming just seems to be really good, in general, this year and next year, as well, but Battlefield 3 is just a shooter as any other, as far as I see it (Yes, it looks pretty for those who have the hardware, but so what, it's a standard military shooter.), The Witcher 2 doesn't look too bad and I hope there will be a PS3 port, but if the goal of that list was meant to point out why PC gaming is unique, this year, or something such as that, both consoles get Dark Souls and Final Fantasy XIII-2 while the PS3 gets the upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Correct me if I'm wrong, but L.A. Noire also seems to have been released, this year, and most games are just multiplatform (like the precious Skyrim, RAGE, the upcoming BioShock: Infinite, Deus Ex, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, etc.). Aside from that, The Old Republic was listed and I'm still ticked off that it's replaced KotOR III and mods/Steam/potentially superior hardware were already for PCs while I really don't like mods, don't like Steam (I like physical copies of all games.), and the superior hardware most certainly doesn't apply to my PC, but that doesn't stop me from playing PC games and being a PC gamer.
