What does the community rank as the best weapon pack mods? Ive had a look and not really looking for those which add a few super powered weapons, but more a general selection of standard ordinary looking weapons. Im not into the whole flaming sword of death look.

Ok, so you are not looking for any replacers, but only new weapons as I understand. Well, I know many people like HELLUVA weapon packs, but these are not my cup of tea. I just took a quick look through my mods folder and found out I have very few mods adding weapons.

Westly's Aureals mod adds whole section of aureal weapons (and MUCH more than just weapons), which look very nice and are lore friendly.

Neverhalls and The Forgotten Halls by Midgetalien add some weapons (and large dungeon where you can find them) - high quality lore friendly mod.

And last a little self promotion - my Crossbows mod adds some - surprisingly - crossbows.

Oh, and of course Tamriel rebuilt, which contains also new weapons.

If someone knows about weapon packs that are of similar quality, I would be interested in these too

http://mw.modhistory.com/download-55-13757 is an alright resource, it is a bit older like prolly from around 2004ish, but some of the weapons are okay, maybe needing newer textures. There are a number of fantasyish style weapons in there, but there are some reality based swords also.

If you like PF weapons there is also http://mw.modhistory.com/download-55-13759, Same as with PFweapons with the age, texture quality, and some fantasyishness to some of the weapons, but you can always use it as a resource, and make your own esp with what meshes you want to use.

the items in PF weapons are already in game, and in leveled lists so you will have to mash your lists if you use that one. The weapons in Pfextra are not in the game it is a resource.

There is also a Cimmerian Sword out there (think original Conan), and I believe Kiteflyer61 has the http://download.fliggerty.com/download-129-639 from the original Conan Movie.

There are quite a bit of weapons mods out there even still a LOT of weapons mods if you throw out all of the replacers, and Uber flaming sword of death mods. You just have to dig around on the web to find them.
