Pre ordered Fallout4 with game. today i received the download code. in the email it tells me to go to elderscrollsonline and create an account. which it wont let me. Whats going on

Anyway, an account on Elderscrolls? That seems odd to me, you should be getting a Steam key that you activate on Steam.

If your download code looks something like:

ABCDE-FGHIJ-K1L2M

You probably got a Steam key.

Open up Steam, at the top you'll find Games, under there you choose "Activate a product on Steam..." and there you enter the cd-key. See if that'll do it for you.

Do not post your key in this thread for demonstration purpose.

Accounts on elderscrollsonline.com are only for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure you've not misread the address?

Or worse, gotten a fake email that leads to false signup page just to get your personal info.
