i'm a recent fan with fallout 3 and new vegas being what got me into it and i just want to know the lore beyond the two games. i already know that it's far into the future in a different universe where we continue to follow a 1950's type style and advance in scientific breakthroughs. besides the obvious nuclear war and the whole "major powers" collapsing and then the ensuing nuke war what else is there to know. i dont really read all of the compuer logs in the dlcs and i occasionally skip through the dialog since I've already either been through the correct sequence or its all non nonsensical rants of the terrain.

You can play the originals and find out the fun way. Or you can read the wiki that may or may not be accurate.

Also if you want to know the story read the computer logs and don't skip dialogue. There are certain dialogue options you can only get if you fail the skill check. Even playing a main character of the opposite six.

im sorry its just the wiki seems too unreliable and i dont have the time or money to go through all the other games. i would also like to read the opinions/lores/creepypastas/etc made up in the fallout universe
