I own the legendary edition of elder scrolls skyrim on steam (digital copy).

I have put about 30 hours into it and have recently encountered a problem with the screen flickering. It is constant (not just shadows or when I do something in particular. I have no mods installed, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and playing with the graphics settings and the settings on my graphics card.

I have recently updated my drivers for my graphics card (no idea if this had an effect) although it was not doing this before I did that.

Basically it is like a constant night club rave effect with the whole image and its driving me insane and making the game painful to watch. Any ideas why it is doing it and how to fix it?

System Specs:

- Intel i5-3230M core 2.60 GHz

- 8GB RAM

- 64 bit operating system and processor

- 1TB harddrive space (of which 600+ GB's are still free)

- Intel HD 4000 graphics card with 1GB+ of dedicated graphics memory

- Windows 8.1

Obviously you don't play with your dedicated card but with your HD 4000 intel GPU.
